Events | Conferences | Incentives | DMC | MICE Tourism | Consulting — Creatively Tied Together
Corporate events, conferences and incentive programmes, designed and delivered end-to-end by one accountable partner - or cherry-pick the pieces you actually need.
Every engagement is bespoke. No rotating account teams, no late-stage surprises.
KnotArt works with corporate, association, government and international group buyers who need a senior lead from first brief to post-event debrief — one point of contact, one accountable name, a specialist team assembled specifically for the project.
We’re built on 30+ years of live event heritage and sharpened by deep, hands-on experience across every layer of the industry - venue-side, supplier-side, and client-side.
We know what it takes to deliver at scale, because we’ve done it.
Wellington-based. Delivered nationwide. The strongest industry-body accreditation footprint of any independent NZ event or DMC partner - Tourism New Zealand Business Events, BEIA, NZEA, TIA, PCOA, Tiaki Promise and Sustainable Tourism New Zealand.
From concept to completion, we don’t just deliver events, we design experiences.

KnotArt is the next chapter in a 30-year event story - from the stages of Sir Elton John and Bon Jovi, through large-scale exhibitions and national conferences, to a new kind of event and destination management company built for what’s next.
The company includes Capital C: Concerts, our live entertainment division, founded 1992.
The deep operational experience required to stage major concerts on immovable dates - supplier management, technical production, risk, logistics, creative ambition and genuine industry connections across all layers of the events & MICE sector - sits behind every event, conference and incentive programme KnotArt delivers.
KnotArt is a Wellington-based New Zealand event management and destination management company, working across corporate events, conferences, inbound DMC and incentive programmes, live events and MICE consulting.
Damien Sprey leads as Managing Director — one senior lead on every engagement, backed by a handpicked specialist team assembled around each brief.Every project is built around what you need the event to actually deliver — your goals, your people, your budget, and the outcome you're being measured on.
Every project runs bespoke and case by case. Scope fits your goals, audience, budget, and delivery.
Yes — inbound MICE groups and incentive programmes are a core part of what we do. We handle the full ground experience in New Zealand, from arrival to departure. In all, we run five connected services: corporate event management, conferences, DMC and incentives, live and major events, and MICE consulting for New Zealand tourism operators.
End-to-end really does mean end-to-end. Strategy and experience design, programme and scheduling, venue and accommodation sourcing, budgets and reconciliation, AV planning and supplier management, entertainment and show flow, contracts, and on-site management from bump-in to pack-out. We cover conferences, incentives, gala dinners, product launches, exhibitions, and destination-led programmes — and we work as an extension of your team, not a black-box vendor.
Our live entertainment division is Capital C: Concerts — a long-standing New Zealand name in live entertainment, with delivery across concerts, exhibitions, sporting events, corporate productions, and national milestones. Past projects include Sir Elton John concerts (134,000 attendees across five tours), Bon Jovi (32,000), and the Anne Frank Exhibition (108,000 visitors), to name a few.
Our MICE consulting helps regions, operators, venues, hotels, and suppliers get their product genuinely ready for business events and incentive buyers. That means experience flow and readiness reviews, packaging for group and incentive, destination and product development, engagement, regional storytelling and experience development, plus workshops and capability building for your team, from an event/MICE buyers perspective.
Either works. Every engagement is bespoke — we look at each brief on a case-by-case basis. Full end-to-end programme management is the default engagement, but we are equally happy to be scoped for a single component: venue sourcing, accommodation block management, pre- or post-event tours, ground transfers, registration, speaker sourcing, on-site senior lead for the day or whatever you actually need. There is no minimum engagement size if the scope is clearly defined.
